Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information BulkCertPDF (bulkcertpdf.com) handles and why. In short, your spreadsheets and certificate content stay on your device, and the only personal information involved in a purchase is handled by our payment provider.

1. Your spreadsheet and certificate content

Spreadsheets (Excel or CSV), recipient names, logos and the certificates you generate are processed entirely inside your web browser. They are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see them. When you close or refresh the page, that content is gone unless you've saved files to your device.

2. Purchases

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details to process the payment, calculate tax, send your receipt and license key, and manage subscriptions. We can see your name, email, country, order details and license key in our Lemon Squeezy account, and we use them only to provide your purchase and answer support requests. We never see your full card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy covers how it handles your information.

3. License checks

When you enter a license key, or reopen the site after unlocking it, your browser sends the license key to Lemon Squeezy's license API to confirm it's valid. No spreadsheet or certificate content is sent.

4. What's stored in your browser

To keep your purchase active between visits, we save a small record in your browser's local storage. It contains your plan, its expiry date and, if you entered one, your license key and activation ID. It stays on your device, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The Lemon Squeezy checkout may set its own cookies while you're paying.

5. Services that load parts of the site

The page itself is hosted by Cloudflare, and some code and fonts are loaded from third-party networks: Cloudflare's cdnjs, the Tailwind CSS CDN, Google Fonts and Lemon Squeezy. Like any website, these providers receive standard technical information when your browser requests files from them, such as your IP address and browser type. They do not receive your spreadsheet or certificate content.

6. Analytics

We don't currently use analytics. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, we will update this policy. It will not involve your spreadsheet or certificate content.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as South Africa's POPIA or the EU/UK GDPR give you the right to access, correct or delete personal information held about you. Because we don't receive your spreadsheet data, the only information we can hold is the purchase information described in section 2. To make a request, email us using the address below.

8. Children

The Service is intended for organisations and adults issuing certificates. Purchases must be made by adults.

9. Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the date at the top.
